Question:
My wife and I are looking for a female doctor in the Houston area who can address the above highlighted problems (total absence of libido). The doctors she's talked to are clueless when it comes to this type of problem. How can we find an enlightened doctor? She's been through alot; had one ovary removed, two subsequent C-sections, and one ectopic pregnacy, so there's been alot of knife action down there. It's been almost 10 years now but she still gets no pleasure from sex. Is there anything we can do?

You have given excellent information in this question but you are directing it to me who deals with adolescent sexuality and parent-teen issues. There are several therapists on the home page list who would be very willing to help you. Please contact one of those whose description suggests they work with female sexual dysfunction like Beverly Whipple
