Question:
me and my bf had unprotected sex, I am on birth control, and he did pull out before he came but I was wondering what kind of chance there is i can get pregnant and if there is any way I could make a home-made pregnancy test that would work instead of going out and buying it since I'm only 16 and live in a very small town.

I hear how frightened you are that you might be pregnant. You say you are on "birth control" so I wll assume you mean the pill( oral contraceptives). If you have never forgotten to take the pill, chances are that you would not be pregnant. Just to be safe however, if you have a prescription for the pill and think you may have forgotten a dose or two, you would be best to go back to the place where you got the prescription and ask them for a pregnancy check. If you do not want to return there, find the nearest Planned Parenthood ( www. palnedparenthood.org) or women's health facility ( www.ama-assn.org/special/contra/contra.htm). These places provide safe and confidential help for women. You also mention having "unprotected sex"but say you are on birth control. Perhaps you may be worried that you are unprotected from sexually transmitted infections. The places I have recommended will also be able to check you out for infections. I do not know of any home made preganancy tests. You also mention that your boyfriend "pulled out before he came." When a man is excited and gets an erection, typically some semen will appear at the end of his penis before he ejacutlates. This small amount of semen will also have the potential for getting you pregnant even though he pulls out before he ejaculates. If you have some confidence in the person who prescribed the oral birth control, trust them to help you. If not please go somewhere else.
