Question:
Is there a possibility that i might get pregnant if I had sex during my menstral period?

Answer:

Yes, it is possible if she happens to be ovulating at that time. However, most woman ovulate (release an egg) in the middle of their cycle - not during menstruation. For example, if a woman begins menstruation every 28 days, she typically ovulates on or around the 14th day after the start of her period. Unless you are willing to risk pregnancy, I suggest the two of you talk about an appropriate method of birth control. It's better to be safe than sorry.
