Question:
Dear Doctor. I have recently started to have ovary pains and my nipples are sore and red. I went to the doctor and he says is endomitriosis. For what I have heard that makes you infertile! I have a 5 year old and miscarriage this january. My period has not yeat come.I'm worry because I don't think the Doctor did the neccesary check up with an ultrasound. I had a cyst b4 but went away by itself. If I have endomitriosis is it normal that my nipples are so red and hurt so much? Because the pills he has given me has taken away the pain in the ovaries but not of my breast. Also he did a pelvic exam, but nothing else is that normal for this type of diagnosis? Please help!

If the care that you received does not seem complete, you really must get a second opinion. Try not to dwell on things like endometriosis or infertility until you've had a thorough medical evaluation and been given an "absolute" diagnosis (that may require an ultrasound, if your new care provider think that one is warranted). Good luck.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
