Question:
This morning while taking a bath I found a bump beside my vagina and I was wondering what it may be ?

A bump on your vulva (external female genitalia), if it has not gone away, is cause for a trip to the doctor. It could be anything from a sexually transmitted infection to a pimple to an infected hair follicle, just to mention a few possibilities. If it is still there, just get in to see your doctor and he/she will tell you what it is. You may have need for treatment or you may have worried over nothing at all. Either way, it's best to know for sure rather than worry and wonder. Thanks, Patricia Fawver, Ph.D.
