Question:
Lately I have been getting skin rashes after, during fooling around with my girlfriend. (We aren't having sex.)

Well, these rashes (small bumps) started appearing on my body a few weeks ago. In fact, they did not start when I was fooling around.. I spotted one on my inner-elbow when I was sitting in front of the computer. They come and go. When they come, they seem to dissapear in an hour or so. They only occured on my arms before (around shoulder and armpit). Just recently, I spotted some on the back of my neck and on my lower chest. They are just little bumps that are kind of itchy (it's easy to control the itch.

They started occuring about 3 weeks ago. That's the only thing that worries me; they never happened before. It also worries me that they seem to be occuring in larger numbers and in other places on my body. They seem to always occur after me and my girlfriend fool around. Now, I doubt it's her because we've been fooling around at this level for 7 months and none of this ever happened. I looked on the internet for what problems had these symptoms. I found scabies and hives. What do you think?

I doubt very much if they are scabies, since scabies usually creates more than a rash and wouldn't go away very as quickly.

I am not a medical doctor and wouldn't want to diagnose anything without seeing it anyway, but it does sound as if the rash may be an allergic reaction to something that your girlfriend may be wearing. Allergies can develop over time and it may be her perfume, her deodorant or even the soap that her clothing is washed in.

It could also be hives and your bodies' reaction to getting sexually turned on, a heat rash due to changes in temperature recently or almost anything.

It is probably nothing to worry about at all, since it goes away and is not related to anything serious. If you really want to find out more, you might go to a dermatologist who is a doctor that works with skin. He/she may be able to give you a better answer.

Thanks for writing. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.
