Question:
I have been feleing a burning itch on my vagina.I went to my doctor and he told me it was not an infection, and gave me some antibiotics in cream but the itchs persist.I live in a very hot tropical enviropment and im always sweting.Even do Im always washing the aerea and cleaningit aim a little desperate Wat could posibly be? Sinse this hapened i stop having sex to prevent anithing else but it seemes not to bee that ither.What could i do or wat vaginal shower do yo recomend me?

Sounds like you need another medical opinion. Really severe itching is not normal. You could have a yeast infection or maybe a contact dermatitis (like an allergic reaction) or dermatoses (like a skin problem) or even something like lice in the pubic hair. You may have none of these, but a doctor who specializes in gynecology could and should be able to rule these things out. If you can't get to a private doctor, try a clinic in your area that specializes in sexually transmitted infections. Although you may not have an infection that was sexually transmitted, the clinicians in these clinics are usually very good at diagnosing a wide variety of disorders. Until then, try soaks in warm water tubs to which an Aveeno oatmeal bath packet has been added. After you dry thoroughly, you may wish to put some Vitamin E Skin Oil on the area.
