Question:
Hello - I'm an 18 year old female; I live with my boyfriend. He's my first lover. He's incredibly kind, unselfish, and makes me feel very comfortable, in bed and out of bed. I orgasm; but only when stimulated orally. I'd really like to be able to orgasm from intercourse. We've tried what seems like everything. All the relaxation, the 20 tips, etc. Should I give up? What advice do you give the couples who have tried so many things? Thanks for your time.

There are a number of things you could try in having an orgasm during intercourse. The woman-on-top position is the most effective way that women have orgasm during sex, mainly because the woman is in control and can effectively stimulate her clitoris while riding her partner. Furthermore, no matter what position you're in, make sure that your clitoris is being stimulated. Only 1/3 of woman attain orgasm during sex without clitoral stimulation. Enhancing foreplay may be one way of building up to an orgasm. Try using a vibrator on yourself before he enters you. Share each other's sexual fantasies. Get hot with erotic films or literature. Have him go down on you, working you up to a near-orgasm point before entering you. Hopefully, one of these tricks will work! Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network. Yvonne K.
