Question:
what is the lifespan of sperm when exposed to air? I usually have a condom replaced(following the necessary instructions and cautions) after each session of intercourse though I still have doubts about the possibilities (when being replaced by me) of having at least a little bit spilled on my hands or at the base of my pubic area therefore coming in contact with the vagina and resulting in unwanted pregnancy

You're smart to faithfully replace the condom! Sperm typically survive for 48-72 hours in a woman's reproductive system, though semen has survived for up to 12 days after sexual intercourse took place! Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network. Yvonne K. Fulbright, MS.Ed.
