Question:
I am 31 year old, married and have two children aged 1 & 6 yrs.The problem is because of premature ejaculation I have never been able to enjoy sex with my wife and this has become a matter of discord and dissatisfaction between us. I ejaculate within a minute and also release by minor touches or by merely watching some hot scenes. Immediately after my ejaculatuion I feel completely drained out and my body seems to ache. I do not know whom to go to and am helpless. Please help. Because of my condition over the last few months I have even been reluctant to have sex. Literally now we do not even have sex even once a month.

A history of masturbation has nothing at all to do with rapid ejaculation. I know of many Indian men who feel guilty about having masturbated, but it is quite normal and natural. Your anxiety will certainly contribute to your quick ejaculation, and avoiding intercourse does not help at all. You simply are more excited and more anxious when you have intercourse infrequently. Unfortunately there are few sex therapists in Southern Asia. My self-help book, "Male Sexual Endurance" has been republished in India and is available from Orpheus Publishing, 204 A.N. Chambers, Turner Road, Bandra, Bombay 400050, India. Inquire about it by e-mailing orpheus@india.crosswinds.net Stop avoiding your wife and learn what the two of you can do to give each other pleasure. I have free information on premature ejaculation among the articles at http://www.oralcaress.com
