Question:
My girlfriend and I are very intimate and open with each other about sex. Everything seems to work perfect for us except one thing. When she performs oral sex on me and I reach the point of orgasm, she says that her "gag reflex" prevents her from swallowing my ejaculate. When we discussed this, she said that too much ejaculate comes out at one time. I will generally have 5-7 surges (I guess that it what you call it) when I orgasm. With each surge I will ejaculate, with the first surge containing the most. She really wants and tries to swallow, but every time I ejaculate, she will remove my penis from her mouth quickly and spit out whatever ejaculate is in her mouth, saying that it makes her gag. I have heard of the "gag reflex" being a problem when the penis hits the back of the throat, but never when the ejaculate does? Please advise me as to whether this is "normal" and what we may do to possibly correct the situation. Thank you for your time.

Hello, Thank you for your question.

My only suggestion is to stop asking her to swallow. She clearly does not want to, and does not want to say so, as if may hurt your feelings.

Best Wishes, Melissa BEE
