I doubt that you need to be concerned. It sounds like what’s called sexual flush, which is simply a sign of sexual excitement. Whether the excitement is due to masturbation or sexual activity with a partner the body responds with specific changes. Heart rate & blood pressure increase, muscles tense, sexual flush occurs (reddened skin or some blotches of redness on the chest & back), nipples become erect, genital & pelvic blood vessels become engorged (swelling of the woman's clitoris & vaginal lips & erection of the man's penis), & both involuntary & voluntary muscles contract.

Sexual flush is a common part of the sexual response cycle. In some it's just more evident than in others. This is either new to you, or you just didn't notice before. Sexual response cycle is the sexology term for what your body goes through from the moment you are turned on until after orgasm. It starts with vaguely sexy feelings & moves to true physical sexual excitement. This is when you feel a need for actually touching, like kissing or stroking. You feel warmth through your body, especially in your thighs & genitals. Assuming you continue, you next experience intense sexual excitement - known as the plateau stage - as described above. Orgasm is the release of the built-up sexual tension. After the release of orgasm your body returns to normal levels of heart rate, blood pressure, breathing & muscle contraction. Swollen & erect body parts return to normal & skin flushing disappears.
