Question:
When I have sexual intercourse for the first time in a week, I always ejaculate within a minute or two. Is this normal? When I recover from the first time, I proceed to have sexual intercourse again and I will not ejaculate at least for another 45 minutes. Is that normal? Should I be concerned about any of this?

It is normal to ejaculate rapidly if it has been a while since the last ejaculation. However, the average healthy male will usually ejaculate in two to three minutes if he steadily thrusts hard and fast. You talked of a second erection and the need to thrust for 45 minutes before a second ejaculation. I would expect that the second ejaculation would take much longer. However, I would also remind all readers that the majority of aging males are unable to achieve a second erection, let along experience a second ejaculation. There is nothing in your question that would cause me concern. However, you might want to learn how to better manage that first ejaculation unless you and your partner like that initial quickie and the subsequent marathon. Problem is, as you age you might lose the ability to become erect a second time, so I would recommend experienting with slowing down your first orgasm.
