Question:
Dr. Birch, I went to try to get help for PE fron The Boston Medical Group. This is a company that has MD's specializing in men's health. They tested my blood flow to my penis and some other tests. Everything is normal. Then they injected my penis with a small amount of a drug that keeps it erect even after ejaculation. They said that with practice the penis will get used to being in the vagina and not PE so quickly. Can this work? Thank you.

It is hard for me to know exactly what the doctors thought and what they did (and why they did it). Therefore, I will not criticize their approach (as you presented it). I will make the statement that the most effective way to manage rapid ejaculation over a life time is to learn a strategy for management of that response. There are many good self-help resources and you need to learn what to do and then practice, practice, practice!
