Many individuals will experience difficulty reaching
orgasm from time to time. You do not mention if your
boyfriend has ever had an orgasm in the past. This is
important information when it comes to possible
explanations for your current situation. In a new
relationship stress, fear, and performance anxiety are
common reasons why some people experience orgasmic
difficulties. After partners become more comfortable
with each other sexual problems often disappear.
However, there are also many physical problems that
can cause orgasmic difficulties. The use of certain
medications such as antidepressants or
antihypertensives or consumption of large quantities of
alcohol are other common causes of orgasmic
problems.
If you feel like the problem is not stress or anxiety
related you may what to have your boyfriend seek the
advice a medical doctor to help rule out any physical
problems.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
