Question:
I am a male age 50-59 having difficulties with enjoying sex. I get itchs on different parts of my body randomly. First one spot and then another and another. It's not a bug bite type of itch but a tickling sensation like someone rapidly moving just one hair and then going to another hair somewhere else and doing the same thing. It is quite annoying and is really effecting my abilty to concentrate on the pleasure. All I can think about is the little iching here and there to the point I give up with my partner and both of us frustrated. Please help. I also itch when I am not having sex but not to the same degree or perhaps its not as annoying or something. I thought alergies, detergent reaction, dryskin, etc. and tried to remidy those and nothing seems to help. What is going on?

Many physiological changes may happen in the body as a person gets sexually aroused: The breathing pattern may change, the blood pressure rises, and areas of the skin may flush due to an increased blood flow in the skin. Maybe sexual activity augments your itching.
My best bet is that one of the medications you are on (Wellbutrin, dexidrene spantials, or monopril) are causing the itch. Is there any relation between the time you started the medications and the beginning of the itch? I would suggest discussing this with your doctor. It is important to deal with this issue since the itch is clearly affecting your life.
Another possibility is to consult with a dermatologist, who can examine your skin.
