Question:
Me and my girlfreind have been making out for quite a while now. Just yesterday we were doing the same, but go carried away.
We began having sex.
I wasn't wearing a condom, and she hasn't used any kind of contraceptive.
My penis was an inch into her opening.
I withdrew before ejaculating.
We washed up immidately.
I hear the risk are even the quite high.
We are both confused. We hear of some kind of emergency birth controll pill that we wish to use.
Please tell us what to do, and quick.
Ps: she is only 17!!
Hurry!!

Thank you for all the helpful information you gave me (such as knowing that your girlfriend is in the 9-10th day after her period. The timing does make a difference, and if her period lasts about one week it means that she could very well have been ovulating. That makes the risk of pregnancy just a little higher.
Because you didn't ejaculate inside of her, making the only fluid that might have sperm in it the pre-cum fluid, the risk of pregnancy is lower. There is not much sperm in pre-cum (though there could be some).
There is emergency contraception that really is just birth control pills in a higher dosage. You need to find a place to get these (depending on what country you live in sometimes birth control pills are sold in pharmacies with out a prescription) or go to a family planning clinic or private doctor you trust. The emergency contraception, several of the daily pills, must be taken within 72 hours of the sex act so you will need to act quickly.
I would recommend that you do get the Emergency Contraception if possible even though the risk of pregnancy is probably low.
I also recommend that you ALWAYS have latex condoms with you so that you don't get in this situation again. It is very stressfull and takes away from the beautiful experience of sexual pleasuring that you and she can enjoy.
If I can be of any more help please write back and I will answer as quickly as I can.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
