Question:
Hi, my girlfriend and I are avoiding sex, but we would like to fool around a bit. We were planning on me ejaculating on her in the shower and I was wondering about the consequent risk of pregnancy.

Hi! You said you would be "fooling around" in the shower with your girlfriend but want to avoid intercourse. If you mean ejaculating on your girlfriend's stomach, for example, that would most likely be a safe, low risk, and creative way to avoiding pregnancy and enjoy sex play. However, if you ejaculate near the vagina or in it even a little, the semen can find their way to the fallopian tubes and there is always a chance that pregnancy could occur. Even if you pull out before you ejaculate, there is also a chance that the semen that appears on the end of your penis just as you become aroused and erect, will have the potential for impregnating as well. To really play it safe, why don't you check out the menthods of contraception you might use at www.planedparenthood.org... and happy showering!
