Megan P FlemingView this expert's archive  Biography: Dr. Megan Fleming currently is Director of the Sexual Health and
Rehabilitation Program (SHARP), and Attending Psychologist in the Department
of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York
City. She holds the position of Assistant Professor in Psychiatry for the
Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, and is an
Associate of the NY Center for Human Sexuality, Department of Urology,
Columbia University/Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
Dr. Fleming obtained both her masters and doctoral degrees in clinical
psychology from Hahnemann University, Summa Cum Laude, Philadelphia, PA. She
completed her internship at the Payne Whitney Clinic of the New York
Hospital/Cornell University Medical College and post-doctoral work in
psychiatry at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Fleming graduated
from the Human Sexuality Program of the New York Hospital/Cornell University
Medical College and is a certified sex therapist by the American Association
of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (ASSECT). She has been an
invited speaker at Gilda’s club, SHARE, and national meetings, presented at
the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and has published on the topics of
intimacy and sexuality in cancer survivorship and medical illness.
